Access is via the Marrick Safari entrance off the Douglas road (R357) approximately 10km from Kimberley. Follow the dirt road for 400m to the Shooting Range gate on your right. To gain access you will need to register at the Marrick Safari Reception which is further on along the dirt road.


  • Paid-up NCHA members are charged a usage fee of R50 per person per 1 hour session. Please ensure that you have your membership card with you.
  • Non-members are charged a usage fee of R100 per person per 1 hour session.
  • Payment is to be made at the Reception where you will sign the Shooting Register and be given a remote which will grant you access to the Range.
  • After use of the Range the remote is to be returned to Reception.
  • Alternatively, for a once off fee of R550 per person per year you can become a yearly Marrick Range member which entitles you to use the Range as often as you like. Sessions still have to be booked, however you are granted cell-phone access which expedites entry.


  • Ensure that you have your relevant fire-arm licenses with you when visiting the Range.
  • Please study the applicable safety rules mentioned in the Shooting Register.
  • Whilst using the Range facility please adhere to all the rules displayed on the Notice Board at the Firing Point.
  • All spent cases and litter are to be removed from the Range or placed in the bins provided.
  • Only shoot at formal targets, using the Stop Butt at all times. No bottles, tins and similar items may be used as targets and no existing structures may be shot at. This is considered vandalism and will not be tolerated.
